Please join us on to welcome in our new Fairy Tale Garden and to learn about and register for Summer Reading programs and events! Local musician Tom Hanford will be there to provide us with music for the festivities!
Suzanne McGovern, an author from Pine Plains, NY, will be joining us to share her “Gator” stories with us. They are based on her horse, who is also a denizen of Pine Plains. Attendees can look forward to a game of “Pin the Tail on Gator”, and Suzanne will be bringing tee shirts and books that will be available for purchase! She is also generously donating a gift basket of autographed books to be raffled off as a prize at the end of the summer!
And for our teens: we're bringing back the Wii! Come and show us what you've got, and bring a game you'd like to play!
We’ll also have a crafts table, where you can make an edible “Make-N-Take” craft with your child, make a “Pet Plant” to take home for the summer and bring yours and their favourite white tee shirt (or another white article of clothing) to tie dye!
We look forward to seeing everyone, and we are really looking forward to a busy and fun summer of reading and fun!
