Youth writing workshop

Join Hudson Valley poet and writer, Abbey Gallagher, for a four-week writing workshop series. In this weekly meet-up, young writers will develop the foundational skills necessary to create imaginative pieces of writing, as well as the skills necessary to edit and revise their pieces. Each week, prompts will be provided in various forms, including photographs, physical objects, songs, and much more. Writers will have the opportunity to share and workshop their pieces with one another. For new and regular writers of any genre.

Abbey Gallagher is a Hudson Valley poet and writer. Her work has been published in Breakwater Review, Chronogram,andArt Mid-Hudson’s exhibit, “Artists Respond to Poetry,” among others. She is the author of the self-published chapbook, “How to Grieve.” Abbey is an English tutor and writing workshop leader throughout Dutchess County, NY while currently working on an upcoming collection of poetry.
