Narcan (Naloxone) is a medication that reverses an overdose by blocking heroin or other opioids in the brain for 30 to 90 minutes
Led by Sharon Stramm, EMT and certified Narcan trainer, the training will teach you:
-why naloxone works to reverse an overdose
-what to do when an overdose is suspected
-how and when to administer the medication
Each individual will receive hands-on training for administering naloxone, and receive a FREE Narcan kit at the end of the training.
